I am trying to install Debian on a Compaq Presario V2310. After choosing a kernel type (I have tried all the kernels), the screen shows text for about a second, then goes blank. It stops accessing the cd and the computer does nothing.
If anyone knows why/how to fix this, I would appreciate it.
