Windows on a PowerPC? PowerPC CPU in a Toshiba? I must be missing something here, like "PPC" meaning something else than PowerPC.

Yes it's possible

Yes it is possible try to google to find info about it or go to to locate the relevant project.

Hakan, PPC doesn't mean PowerPC but Palmtop PC like the iPaq. These
are currently sold with Pocket PC 2002/3 Microsoft software pre-installed.
i.e pocket outlook, word and excel.

There is a project that loads a pocket linux version on these devices, that
is also supported by HP.
