Configuring Wireless Card on 600m

Im still a linux newbie, but i have got just about everything on the computer working except for my wireless card

I have a dell inspiron 600m, and my wireless card is a ‎PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter.
Any help that anyone could give me as to how to configure this thing would be greatly appreciated

Dell and WIFI

I'm assuming that WIFI card is built in. It seems that Dell doesn't like to put in wifi components that are compatible with linux. However, I hear if you call them and tell them that your main OS is linux and that the WIFI card they sent with the computer is worthless to you, they will send you one that works with linux. Anyway, I would search around on google and see if anyone else has installed slack on the same laptop you have.

I have a Dell Inspiron 8500 and I found several sites that told me EXACTLY how to set up everything.

Thanks for the advice, I will definitely Google around a bit, and maybe give Dell a call.
