Configure XFdrake to use XFree86 4.4

Hi,
I got Mandrake 10 on my dell latitude d505 notebook. the 855 video drivers do not work properly so I am running vesa. While googling I found that XFree86 4.4 solves this and have a better driver for the intel 855 onboard card. I downloaded and installed the 4.4 . Now I try to configure using XFdrake and it still askss me whic version of XFree to use 4.3 with 3D or 4.3. I do not know why it is not taking the new 4.4 . Can anyone help me.

Thanks
Kart
