compatibility check toshiba tablet m4

I would like to know where I can find a compatibility check for my Toshiba Tecra M4 tablet laptop. I'm not interested in keeping the tablet functionality, just in Switching to Ubuntu.
It was pretty damn useless in the first place ;_;
But any advice or tips or guides any knows of would be delicious.
Thanks.

Since you already have both - have you tried running the tablet on ubuntu?

http://gentoo-wiki.com/HARDWARE_Toshiba_Tecra_M4
... the tecra m4 is strongly compatible with linux.

Ubuntu has a whole load of tecra threads...
http://ubuntuforums.org/tags/index.php/tecra/
... but I don't think anyone there has actually collated anything like the gentoo wiki has. The buzz seems to be that edgy onwards has very few problems.

Once linux is installed, you will find it is very likely you can keep many of the tablet functionalities. It may even work better...

Thank you both very much
I installed Ubuntu with Wubi the other day and it worked fine, tried my hand at beryl before switching to the Open Source nVidia drivers (Woops) so I crashed it.
But someone on another forum has told me how to set it back up and running.
Thanks again guys
Linux forums have been so helpful, it's just been a great experience.
