Compaq Presario C770TU---installation graphically of RedHat Linux occurs errors

Hi..i m using Compaq presario C770TU notebook..i m facing problems while installing red hat linux on my laptop... i cant set up graphically...
it means,after the whole installation process, i directly enter into the text mode.. i mean no desktop mode comes while i enter into Linux operating system..
how can i remove this problem? plz help me.

Are you able to log in and run the command, "startx", without any errors?

If you are, then you just need to adjust your runlevel (very easy). If you are not, then you need to configure your X server (a little more difficult, but not impossible).

If you get any errors, please try to post them here. I know this won't be easy to do since you won't be able to cut-n-paste.

ya.i can log in using id root and then password with the black screen..but the probelm is i cant enter into the desktop mode of linux
