Apologies if this has been answered before but I have looked into it for a couple days now and have not found a resolution. I have been running Linux Mint 17 with Cinnamon for about a month now on a HP 110 Mini. I have another monitor that I would like to use as the primary display but when I try and plug in the vga, Cinnamon enters fallback mode. I have run the updates and using kernel 3.13.0-37. My graphics chipset is Intel moblie 945GSE.

I did want to add I tried the instructions on this link

based on pulling up a very similar issue, but the url it's asking to pull the drivers from is coming back 404.
