checksum error when trying to boot red hat version 9 burned installation iso cd
I have an HP Pavilion zt1170 laptop. I burned the Red Hat version 9 iso images and then set my computer to boot from cd and an error message is shown saying:
ISOLINUX 2.00 2002-10-25 isolinux: Image checksum error, sorry...
Boot Failed: press a key to retry
I know the cd works because I've tried it on other computers. I tried a different HP cd rom drive but that didn't work either. Is there any way to install linux without booting from cd? (I don't have a floppy drive... maybe an online or lan installation?) Any help would be much appreciated!
