cf-25 networking

im trying to install a wifi pcmcia card on a cf-25. it is a linksys wpc11 v4. i am trying to install this to windows me, it installs the soft and recognizes the device, but it is disabled due to irq not being set. i tried to download the mk3 first aid disk, but i dont have a floppy drive for this laptop, just cd. i did get linux cds to boot so i tried burning to cd instead of floppy but no luck. btw i have puppy linux installed on another hard drive and it picks up the wireless no problem, it just prefeorms much slower than the windows install. any help would be greatly appriciated. thanks Bob

Your question is hard to follow. You're saying it works in Linux, but doesn't work in Windows? I think that would be a better question for Microsoft support, or a Windows forum. However, given the age of Windows ME, I doubt that they will even support it.

What error(s) do you get in Linux with the device?

You are correct sir, works w/ linux not windows, they prob dont support it, and i did post this at another board. I just know this site has some knowledgeable people. In fact this site got my toughbook running at all. Respect. Shout out to puppylinux.org. But i guess i was currious here if in fact linux is not bios affected and windows is. BTW to get the wireless card working in linux i run the windows driver. Well if anyone out there has any idea thatd be awesome.
