why are you downloading rar files??? get the real iso's directly from mandrakelinux.com. But maybe nero is just not being told to show all files.... by defualt it only shows it's own image types.

i did it from mandrakelinux.com

but the come as rar files , or is my winrar just unpakking the *.iso 's ?

can winrar unpack iso ?

you don't unpack iso's. they are disc images, not archives.

Look at the directory listing in the shell. Sometimes windows does strange things with extensions. Check that the *.iso files are there and that they are also about the right size. If they are available, also download the md5sums file or the asc file from the same place. You may need to select "burn from iso" from the menu. Then a file requester should come up where you can select the iso file for one of the disks and burn it. The program may use the md5sums or .asc file to determine if the cd image is valid before burning.

Nero has this thing with isos for some reason. Just open nero, browse to the folder, and click file type, all files.

Hope this helps.
