Cannot dual boot win2k RH linux
I have a Dell D600 laptop, I installed RH linux on it, but when it roboots, it doesn't show linux as an option to bool in win2k loader. I know there's some workaround to this based on transfer the boot file from linux to win2k but I dont have a floppy drive to make the transfer.
Is ther any other way to do this?, will samba be some help?

what you need is to boot linux throught win2k boot loader? why don't use grub? there you can put an boot option for win and for linux... install it on the mbr and that is....

works good for me!

It would be nice to uset win2k boot loader since it's my companies laptop, but I believe I could survive using grub.
The only thing is that I havent'n used grub ever, so I'll investigate how to used, but I have a question regarding installation, when I came to the point where I need to install the boot loader, I'll chose grub but where do I need to install it, en MBR or /boot???, also do I need to check lba32 support???

You need to instal GRUB on the MBR without the LBA32 support option

This should work smoothly

there are a lot of grub tutorials on the net, just google something like grub howto or grub tutorual and you get it...
