If me. I would lay both ram sticks side by side with contacts facing each other 1st
and use reading glasses or a magnifying glass to look for differences.

Do no force anything or you will brick it and make a door stop out of it.
I have already been there and done that myself.

As far as forum layout with Android. I have no idea as my phone is a Iphone 5S.

Take it slow. But it does not sound like the ram given you is compatible physically.

You might get better responses providing a link to the ram stick specs given you.
You will have to do your own research though as only you know what it looks like and pin count plus sdram, ddr2, things like that.

Just my guess http://www.memoryten.com/p/019490.htm

A short search for m470t2864qz3-ce6 showed me that this is a DDR2 RAM module. All iBooks with G4 CPU use DDR RAM, not DDR2. The module is simply incompatible.

Thanks to both of you, rokytnji & TobiSGD, for replying!

I've verified myself what you say and I'm now convinced that it's not for this hardware. I'll need to continue my search for a bigger RAM module for this laptop...

Thanks to any with some info on this!

PS. I used to use PL 528, lately.
I don't think there is a version of puppy linux for the powerPC architecture.
