Can install Linux Fedora on my laptop because it doesnt recognize my keyboard
I am fairly new to the linux OS. I have tinkered in the past on a friends system and liked it. I have recently decided to install it on my Compaq Presario 2100, but have ran into a few problems doing so. I have purchased the Red Hat Linux Bible which came with the CD's to install. When I choose the installation everything stops. None of the keys on the computer work, I assume that the system is not recognizing my keyboard. Can anyone help point me in the right direction to get past this?

Got it workin sort of
Its is the built in keyboard. I took my key board from my desktop and got it to work, so i went out and bought another keyboard for my laptop. Only problem is the laptop is not that mobile anymore. I did something while I have been trying to install some graphics programs, and got the laptop keyboard to work for a while. Sadly when i logged off the internal keyboard stopped working again. Havent been able to duplicate what i did yet tho.
