As I wrote, I boot the machine with LinuxMint 15 x64 and try to install it to ANOTHER removable media. On that part when you can select the install partition/hdd it won't show the removable media. If there's a trick command to show the removable media on the drop box allowing the OS to be installed on it then I don't know it.

When I refer to removable media I mean regular USB stick flash drives, **not** external USB HDDs.

Are both usb sticks on the same USB port? I can't seem to use more than 1x usb storage device on one usb hub. But I can stick the other stick in a different usb port on my laptop and it works. The same basic symptoms you've described. USB is supposed to allow for hubs and expansion, but there's something quirky about that when it comes to usb-storage.

No hubs.
Maybe the mainboard itself is doing the hub process internally.

Cheap hardware = headache
