Brutal harddisk poweroff

Hi,

I've installed MDK 10.0 community on my presario and, at shutdown, the hard disk drives are stopped without be placed in standby before power off. The specific sound of emergency park can be hear.
But this is a very big stress fot the hard drive mechanics, and there is a risk of lose data if the cache is not empty, and corrupted data.

The problem persist using poweroff -h in console, when /proc is correctly mounted.
Everything worked like a charm with MDK 9.2.

An idea ? An advice ? Thanks in advance !
