Unhappy Brand New Sager NP2090 (Compal IFL90) wont take LINUX

I am about to pull the last few strands of hair out of my head! This is my first post and I am desperate.

I am trying to install linux on my brand new Laptop/notebook. I have tried Kubuntu 7.04, Ubuntu 6.06, SUSE 10.2.

When I tried to install Kubuntu Fiesty Fawn, I encountered a problem with the networking and with graphics. X server not found.

So I intstalled Ubuntu 6.06 because it was a supported version and it also had problems with the graphics card. The network card seemed to work.

a friend suggested that I try SUSE because it was used on many more systems than Kubuntu. The 5 CDs that I downloaded checked for errors perfectly. I began my install...everything seems great until I try to install the 3rd CD upon request. I had graphics, and my mouse pad worked. Then came the infamous DHCP. For some reason there is a problem with the DHCP which I understand is my way to talk to the world and get important downloads.

What can I do to get at least the basic installation of Linux working so i can use this very new notebook?

I have enclosed all of the specifications
