Booting Problem
 

Hi have Compaq CQ40-616TU 64 bit laptop. I have install fedora 11 many times but facing lot of problems.These are problems are:

1) After booting into fedora my lap top get hanged up and show blue screen with the logo of fedora and some times display a message as "could not update /var/lib/gdm/.IC Eauthority.

2) I have also tried to install fedora 12 but it shows message that looking for hardware.


I request you to help me regarding these issues.
