Best type of linux to use

I was wondering what is the best version of linux to use. I want one with the most compatability with hardware and software. Also, anyone know any p2p clients and bittorrent clients for fedora core 3? Im using fedora core 3 right now, but ill change if there is a better linux to use. Thanks!

There really is no "best." Use the search feature on the forum and you'll see this question is asked frequently. What's "best" is what works best for you! Try a few different distros and check hardware compatibility before you install to minimize frustration levels.

About distros;
USE THE SEARCH BUTTON!
You don't know how many instances of this exact same post I answer every day!
Having said that, use Slack, it picks up most hardware, is real stable, will teach you a thing or two, etc.

About p2p;
Even though bittorrent is dead now, I will let you know that it is written in python, which is cross platform, and thusly the creator was nice enough to make rpms for it.
A Linux package is available for bt

sorry about posting the same thing live everyone else. The only reason i ask id becasue fedora core 3 doesnt work with my wireless card. When i start up fedora, it freezes when startin the networking, and if i try to put in the pcmcia card, i freezes the system. so, thats the only reason i wanted a more compattable linux and...BITTORRENT IS DEAD?!?!?! Where will i get all my junk now?!
