Best distro for tablet without keyboard

Can anyone suggest a Linux distro that will make it easy to use a tablet without keyboard? Or something that is optimized for the touchscreen. I'd like to be able to install it without having to plug in a keyboard, but that may be unrealistic.

I'm currently looking @ latest openSuse.

Thanks.

If there is any way to get it onto your hardware, I would look into using Android. It is unquestionably the best touch-oriented Linux OS out there, and unless you absolutely need full desktop programs, it is an ideal choice for tablets.

If not Android, then something with Unity (ie. Ubuntu Netbook). Unity has been designed with tablet users in mind as well.

I was going to say that it might be a stretch to load without a keyboard but then I figured that the touchscreen would be acting like a mouse if the distro has full support for that screen. The it would be either a matter of the distro allowing like double click to bring up keyboard or an install that could be done from mouse or at least to some point where you could call up a keyboard if needed. I'd say no text based installer would work. A live version of netbooted version maybe.

I'm definitely going to play with Android for x86, but its a pretty limited OS so I would really hate to permanently cripple my i5 tablet with it. I forgot to mention I'm working with Asus EP121.

I'll take a look at Unity. I also tried Puppy Linux, but it didn't like my usb wireless keyboard, so I'll have to find a wired one before I try it again.

I wonder, is it even possible to login to Linux without a keyboard? I don't see any way to bring up on screen keyboard at login screen in my current openSuse distro.
