hey! hey! all u need is some patience not a new distro!! here let me explain...the search wont show if u have got kppp already installed...the rpm for the kppp is "kdenetwork-kppp-3.1-31mdk" its on the 3rd CD of mandrk9.1..(CDROM3----->Mandrake------>RPMS3---->kdenetwork-kppp..),i think if u try to install directly from there it wud ask for some dependencies...so the best way would be to go to Mandrake Control Centre n try to uninstall any previous kppps that have gone wrong..again this can be done by searching for kppp,but this time in "uninstall packages" after its uninstalled if u run "kppp" in search it would show...i did exactly this and it worked
if u still cannot find it then we may have different CDs i guess, anyway i would be glad to help u by sending it to u,its a small file 607KB..
