I have a Dell Inspiron B130 running Ubuntu 6.06 and am trying to get my BCM4318 Wireless card to work. Apparently the BCM43xx driver does not work on this specific card, so i tried using ndiswrapper.

root@m47r1x:~# lspci
    <a bunch of other devices>
0000:02:03.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4318 [AirForce One 54g] 802.11g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 02)
root@m47r1x:~# ndiswrapper -l
Installed ndis drivers:
bcmwl5          driver present, hardware present
root@m47r1x:~# modprobe ndiswrapper
FATAL: Could not open '/lib/modules/2.6.15-26-386/kernel/drivers/net/ndiswrapper/ndiswrapper.ko': No such file or directory
plz help ive been trying to get this to work since January...... :-S

Have you blacklisted the bcm43xx module?

Search through and there is a really good howto on setting up ndiswrapper for a broadcom 4318.
