Battery monitor on Fedora Core 3

Straight to the point, I have an HP pavilion ze4800 laptop, and I've installed Fedora Core 3, and used yum to upgrade everything on it. Everything works fine, except I cannot seem to find a way to get some sort of a battery monitor.

I've looked into other posts, and the only thing I found was the 'modprobe battery' command, but when in the terminal, it says that modprobe isnt a valid command. I am a noob to Linux, but I do know how to do most basic things, so I'm not very advanced on linux. Thanks!

Hi.

You could install gkrellm - it has a battery monitor.

Weird. The link works for me. It's a redirect, so that might be causing problems... Here's the page's real address for anyone who stumbles accross this thread:

Incidentally, here's a link to the nicest skin I've seen. (I loathe the default one). Click on the image to download:

Glad it's working for you!
