Auto power-management

Hi all,
i would ask if there is a way to handle low-level power managing in an automatic way.In detail i'm using KDE4.8.1 and i can make the power module events fire an action and execute my script, but i would like to set values to files like
Code:
sys/class/scsi_host/host0/link_power_management_policy
USB_AUTOSUSPEND (this will be there building up a new kenel image)
adjust the VM writeback time
and so on
then i have not enough permits as a normal user...however running the script with sudo or variant like kde-sudo would require me to type the passwd quite randomly.I thought to use special sudo configs but i cannot say if it would work, because (echo "sth" > /dir/file) is not the usual invocation and if i make all the sudo users to be able to issue echos everywhere this would be really dangerous; should i better code a bash script to fits the needs, any clue?
