laptop:compaq 610
OS:centos 5.3

I have heavy noise distortion when i play songs or movies.even while watching live streaming.


can someone please help me solving this.do i have to install any audio drivers or any.if any please provide me the details

Install a good mixer like kmixer and adjust things

also it may be related to sound system ... try selecting a different one
