Question ATI M9 install drivers

I have Slack 9.1 and i'm trying to install the drivers for my ATI Mobility 9000, i'm trying to use the drivers from gatos and i just can't get them right and accelerated..

Can anyone tell me where i can get better drivers, explain me how to install them step by step (i'm a noob) or leave me a link where i can get a HOWTO to install them...
