You need to add madwifi;

Code:
$ su
# apt-get update
# apt-get install madwifi-source
# apt-get install madwifi-tools
# m-a prepare
# m-a a-i madwifi
then
Code:
# modprobe ath_pci
The module should be automatically loaded at boot but if not you can add
Code:
# echo ath_pci >> /etc/modules
to your /etc/modules list.
