Asus M2 no sound, lsmod provided

I've tried Fedora 1 and Mandrake 9.1 on my Asus M2 laptop, and both OSs work fine except for the lack of sound. The sound card is Intel, ‎ICH4 845G/GL Chipset AC'97 Audio Controller using i810_audio module.

Here's what I got when I ran /sbin/lsmod on Mandrake 9.1:

I have an ASUS M3N with Mandrake 10.0 and i have the same problem with the same sound card. There seems to be another problem with APM, since Mandrake doesn't recognise my battery (ON/OFF) and the battery indicator doesn't show battery level... I've read somewhere in the net those two problems can be connected (IRQ conflict?) but the guy didn't know how to solve them either... :( Hope someone can tell us how to put these things working...
