Aspire 5741G problem with Internet connection
Hello!
Please note that I'm new user here, and new user with Ubuntu. So my problem is this. Today I installed 9.10 with hope that during installation it will update itself to 10.10 (I had it connected with router through Ethernet). It didn't even asked me anything about my connection. So when it installed, normally it would automatically connect itself but not this time. After a few minutes it just pops out: "Wired connection disconnected" I can't connect wireless either because I need driver which would be installed if I had wired connection. So please help me in a little more details because I'm new :) P.S. Sorry for my English. I'm from Croatia :) |

The simplest way would be to download the 10.10 iso. http://www.ubuntu.com/desktop/get-ubuntu/download |
But can I update it from 9.10 already installed... Because I need to download 10.10, then burn it, then install it again...

You could, but it would be faster and more pain-free just to download and install 10.10, as opposed to upgrading a 9.10 install to 10.10.
