Anyone have an old PC laptop?

I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I have been looking to buy a PC laptop, the one that I have is not "Mine" and so I cannot take this crappy Windows XP off..

If someone has an old one they could sale to me that would be great, I don't want to spend too much money, too much IMHO is over $500.. Here is what I am looking for..

IBM or Toshiba 400Mhz +
60gig HD (will settle for 40gig)
256Megs of RAM (will settle for 128megs)
CD/DVD Drive (will settle for just CD Drive, IF I can find a DVD drive online for the laptop)
14.1 inch monitor (resolution 1024x 768)
NO OS (I will install linux on it)
PS2, USB, and S-Video
Video Card
Ethernet/Modem (working card or built in, must work with Linux)

I have seen different ones on ebay, but I would trust one of you guys a lot more.. Also the ones on ebay seem to have very small Harddrives.. I need a large HD since I store a lot of music... I hope this is not too much to ask..

I would sell you mine if I weren't using it myself fits your specs nilcely - it's a Toshiba Satelite 1805. Just wanted to tell you that you're unlikely to find an oldish laptop with 60Gig of HD. But unless it's really old, you can change the hd without much problems (I did it on mine -from 20 to 60G)

This IBM that I am using has a 60gig HD.. everything is perfect about this one its a 390X witha 500Mhz P3, 256Megs of ram, 60gig Harddrive, S-Video, USB, CD-Rom drive (no DVD but I manage)

How much does a 60gig laptop HD usually cost?

Please do not use our forums to advertise, sell/buy, trade, impose sales, or use as classifieds per se. This is all really under our no advertising policy. There are plenty of other sites that you can do this on.

And please don't ask for a forum either for selling or buying, its been declined for many many reasons.

Regards.

PS. If you feel this is not in anyway imposing some kind of deal, trade or transaction and can prove it, feel free to discuss this privately thru email to me, any other mod or Jeremy.

I think they start around $150 new. but do you need it? I thought I need 60Gig because of music but what I do now is have an external USB hd with music and a 60Gig internal hd with multiple OSs. You should in any case make sure that the laptop you get uses the standard 2.5in/9.5mm, drives.
