Any suggestions on Gaming Monitor?

Hey guys,

I already have a custom built Desktop rig, which could undoubtedly be better. However, I was thinking of purchasing a powerful Gaming Monitor, because since I also work in Visual Effects they also tend to be very useful for processing heavy software as well like Maya, Blender, Nuke, AE, and etc. So anybody have any suggestions on monitor builds? But I hope the price is not too expensive. Curious for any insight and thoughts from those who like to sink a lot of thought into these things. Or you can refer to the monitor recommended in this article: https://pc4u.org/best-gaming-monitor-under-200/, please tell me which one is best?

resolution

Well, the monitor itself doesn't do any processing. The GPU does, and
the monitor just displays what the GPU sends to it.

The differences
between a monitor for VFX and any other monitors are down to
color gamut (how many colors you can see) and resolution. For VFX,
you probably want a broad color gamut, although it depends on what
you're working on and who you're working with, since color space
ultimately matters most when there's a conflict. As long as you
standardize colorspace, probably any monitor will do. There are some
monitors, however, that support Adobe RGB colorspace, which is
larger than the usual default SRGB, so if it's really important to
you, you can investigate that. That said, I worked in VFX until very
recently, and we used sRGB-capable monitors with carefully
controlled color profiles using colord.

I suggest finding a 4k monitor (assuming your GPU can handle it). That ought to do everything you need
it to do.
