Problem:
After installation, the system hangs while loading the PCMCIA service.
I have seen many recommendations for trying to stop this service using 'nopcmcia', 'nousb', or 'nomce'. But, this has not worked for me.

The answer:
Boot using interactive mode... press 'I' while booting.
Manually bypass 'start pcmcia service' by selecting 'N' when it asks to load pcmcia.
Then, at the command prompt, type 'chkconfig pcmcia off'.
This stops the pcmcia service from loading at boot.
The next reboot will load flawlessly (unless you have other problems).
I have integrated wireless and cat5 ethernet adapters... that will be the next objective (trying not to use GUI to configure anything).
Please let me know if this solves any problems.
