i would like to split it up so that i can install my

Talking Pseudo-Partition Magic for 30 Days

Hi, I guess you're looking for a software that allows you to resize NTFS partition (the one of XP) in a non-destructive way. There is a trial (30 days) at
http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/purchase.html

Enjoy it !!!
