After GRUB, laptop keeps rebooting
I finally managed to custom install RH9 on an old Fujitsu laptop with 40MB RAM, a 2GB HD and Pentium processor at 133MHz. I did so by taking out the laptop HD and plugging it into a desktop IDE port using a special adapter. Installation was successful.
However, once I popped the drive into the laptop, i turn it on, it goes into GRUB, I select Linux to boot, it spits out the following:
root (hd0,0)
kernel /bz-2.4.18-2.48 ro root=LABEL=/
initrd /boot/initrd-2.4.20-2.48.img
But then it simply restarts the whole machine, detects the RAM and devices and goes back to GRUB and here we go again. So it keeps looping. Already tried a couple of searches here, Google, and at RHN but have found no definitive answers. Any pros have suggestions? Or any newbies like me out there have this problem too?
