Advent 7086, Mandriva 2006 Free, Keyboard and Mouse Issues.

Hi everyone, I hope that I am posting this in the right Forum.

I first tried Linux on my Laptop a few Months ago but stopped using it because of problems with my keyboard and mouse.

Whenever I tap my finger on the mousepad it registers as a mouse click, how can I turn this annoying feature off.

The keyboard on my laptop has a 'numerical keypad' option which is activated by holding down the 'Fn' key. Mandriva is acting like this feature is permanently on, so when I press 'o' a number '6' appears or when I press 'u' a number '4' appears.

I really like using Linux and I would like to continue using it, so can anyone out there help me?

EDIT:

I've managed to solve my mouse issue by using emacs to edit my 'XF86Config' file and adding the following line to the mouse part...

Option "TouchpadOff" "2"
