acer travelmate 800 screen
hi everybody,
i have this problem: i want to install xfree86 for gentoo but i know neither the sync rate nor the horizontal refresh rate of the screen. i googled and checked the handbook, but i didn't find any hints.
the x actually worked with suse8.1, but i didn't save the configfile...
my laptop is the acer travelmate 800 with a 15" tft-lcd screen, 1400 x 1050 (SXGA+)
do you have any ideas how to find out the settings or even better what the specific settings are?
