I've gone to several sites looking for a solution, but haven't come across anything viable as of yet. Does anybody have any good ideas???
My webcam is a CrystalEye which seems to be from Chicony Electronics or SuYin.
Also, the DVD/CD unit installed is a Slimtype DVD A DS8A2S Super Multi DL unit.
Thanks ahead of time for anybody's suggestions.
Hi ThePantherman, Welcome to LQ. You might fair better and get more views on a new thread with the output from the the commands in the first two posts. We'll need to know exactly what hardware you have, what drivers/modules, if any, are loaded to run it and what software you have installed to use it.
Then look in the upper left corner at the top of the page, below the headers and above the threads for the new thread button.
Once you have that sorted, be sure to explain the issue and use the commands listed in the first two posts of this thread, posting the output so anyone reading will have information to help you.
