Unhappy 3d acceleration not working on suse 9.1


Hi
my computers specs are:
300mhz P1
128mb ram
6gb harddrive
1 pccard slot
neomagic 128xd

my problem is that i cant confirgure 3d acceleration on my card (im using suse 8.1)
but however if i do a man neomagic it says my card supports 3d acceleration on 800x600x16

any help would be apreciated as tuxracer is my favorite game and i cant play it
