Dear all

I am using fedora 11 on my laptop. now i want to install windows xp using virtual machine. Should i use xen-kernel or kvm+qemu will be better?
i am confused , guide me in this regard. I also want to mention here that my laptop doesn't have any hardware level virtualization.

I would just recommend installing virtualbox it's free and works very well.

Also I'm not sure about KVM but xen cannot run in hvm mode without hardware virtualization support.

FYI hvm is unmodified guest (windows can only be run this way).

KVM will not work without hardware based virtualization.

If XEN can neither, your options are vmware or virtualbox.

don' know which one

Hi!

I have an Intel-VT capable processor, and i would like to use some virtualization on my machine. I have debidan os, and would like to have windows os, as guest. I'm trying to find out which way supports more efficient 3D. I would be happy we can find out a way to run games on the quest. I have read many articles about virtualizations, but those are not complaining about games or 3D acceleration.
Anyone can help me out? ( maybe someone tried it before? )
My tip would be KVM.
