Wink will kerenl 3.1 version support ubuntu 12.10

Hi everyone,

I am using ubuntu 12.10. I like to use kdb which has support for the kerenl 3.1 (maximum),so now i need to have kernel3.1 to use kdb , will ubuntu 12.10 will support it ???.

What do you mean by KDB has support for kernel 3.1? I'm running 3.8.6 and it is there.

I am using ubuntu 12.10 kernel 3.5.0-17-generic = uname -r
I am reading book on device driver and kernel programming and the y provide lots of path and directory is not present in
my kernel. Please help me to sort this problem
