Question where could I find kernel documentation

Hi
how are you doing?
I am a working on version 2.6.10 of the Linux kernel
I was wondering if someone could direct me to where I could find an in depth documentation of this kernel version including information like descriptions of what the variables are and what the functions should do.
Thanks

Download the full kernel for 2.6.10 from kernel.org. When you extract the tarball, you should see a directory called Documentation.
