where can I find the contents of a specific kernel - before installing it?

I'm wondering about what package versions are inside kernels without having to install them. (a preview of kernel contents)

Is there a website that lists the versions of the drivers and applications contained inside a particular kernel version?

For example, I'm interested in finding out what ALSA sound driver versions are part of the various kernel versions. I've looked at www.kernel.org and did not find this info.

You can get the info (after some digging) from Changelogs. It's not very convenient, however.

Nor is it complete - by definition, a kernel doesn't exist until the config is finalised then compiled.
Even at the same nominal level, there are likely to be differences.

Not to mention -rc and -mm ...
