Hi.
I installed Debian a while ago, and it almost immediately
indicated new updates. So I let the updates to take place
(proposed updates included).
As a result I got a new kernel: linux-image-2.6.26-2-amd64.
What is this kernel?
Is this a normal stable kernel?
Where can I find the sources?
This is probably not one of the best known kernels.
These are the apt-sites (not very exotic?):
deb
http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ lenny main contrib non-free
deb-src
http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ lenny main contrib non-free
deb
http://security.debian.org/ lenny/updates main contrib non-free
deb-src
http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ lenny/updates main contrib non-free
deb
http://volatile.debian.org/debian-volatile lenny/volatile main
deb
http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ lenny-proposed-updates contrib non-free main
deb-src
http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ lenny-proposed-updates contrib non-free main
deb-src
http://volatile.debian.org/debian-volatile lenny/volatile main
I know this looks Debian specific, but I guess other distros might have
this same kernel too.
