Okay, you seem to have 32 bit packages installed and available packages are 64 bit. Or it might be that your mulitilibs are broken.
I would suggest this -
Code:
package-cleanup --dupes
Assuming you have a working backup and means to restore in case of a broken system, try to clean up the duplicates with
Code:
package-cleanup --cleandupes
the problem here is I don't have backup . am afraid is this wipes out any critical data and cause issues . can you confirm if I can goahead with cleaning up dupes without having any backup.
We are a bunch of volunteers, we try to help but that's it. Nobody can vouch for running a command on a system, coz our only source of information is you.
If you are paranoid, then don't use the command. Better yet, buy a subscription from RedHat and have them vouch for it.
