To load new display driver in new kernel

All,
Please help me, please.... please....

I just upgrade my RH kernel from 2.4 to 2.6.19.1 in order I could get the proper driver for several devices in my laptop.

No problem when upgrading, and its working. When I configure the kernel config, I choosed the drivers I want use and it’s loaded in kernel boot successfully.

Then

- My Display Card Intel i915GM
It’s loaded in kernel boot, but I didn’t found where I configure display card in X / Gnome.

- My Sound Card Sigma-Tel C-Major
ALSA loaded in kernel boot, but its still not working and the Sound Detector in X / Gnome said "No Soundcard Detected"

- My NIC is Broadcom 440x...
this is a most frustrated thing, when I’m using 2.4 many articles i read and tried it bit still not working... many tar.gz i downloaded and tried but still its fail.

Please, help me... you're the experts who could help me solve these problems...

Thanks in advance
