Shifting from Jffs2 to UBIFS


Hi all,
Im using currently Jffs2 for my Nand Flash.Im using AT91SAM9261ek. I want to shift to UBIFS filesystem. Can anybody please tell me what all the changes i need to make ? and how to make UBIFS compatible for my board? Has anybody tried UBIFS? please let me know.

Haven't tried it, but here looks like a good place to start.
One would assume you'd need to have the MTD and UBI options selected in the kernel, or the appropriate modules loaded.

Hi ,
yeah i saw that link. I need to know how i should be able to compile my file systems folders using the mkfs.ubifs utility. and with options in the kernel enabled how to load the image in the nandflash through the kernel ? has anybody tried it? It better to take a BACKUP and practice these things before doing any this.

don't if you're still trying to implement UBIFS but have a look at the kernel documentation.
