How do you enable the scsi generic interface on nvme?

Great CONFIG_BLK_DEV_NVME_SCSI was removed in 4.13 ????

yep, the powers that be took it away, it's gone starting in 4.13.

Wonder what would happen if you took something like a 4.8 kernel and compiled in the nvme for fabrics and put in the CONFIG_BLK_DEV_NVME_SCSI that was commented out. ??
