Question Red Hat 9 Installation Error

Dear All

I tried with two set of Red Hat 9 cds yesterday but failed to install and at the boot time saying a " Kernel Panic Error : Attempted to kill init!! "

<3> pc_keyb: controller jammed ( 0x15)
keyboard: Unknown scancode e07a

Later I installed Fedora Core 5 with no problem .

What is the problem ? I need a solution ?

Red Hat 9 is a very old distro so does not support many new hardware configurations. Its no longer supported or receiving security upgrades, so if its an option, don't even bother using it.
