rebuild persistence image

How do I rebuild the persistence image on CentOS from a flash drive.

Hey there!

Could you "pad" the question a bit, please? If you are new to Linux, (re)building a kernel may not be the best "entry vector", if you do need to rebuild a kernel, there may be some great howto's around (this one is good, be it somewhat dated...)

What is your current situation, and where do you want to end up? What is your goal?
