Problem with RAM (only 2.5 showing)

Hi,

I just installed a slackware 12.1 on my computer. I have 8G RAM but it only shows 2.5G.
i recompiled the 2.6.27.8 kernel with +4G ram option enabled but i still get the same result. is there any other option i should know about ?

Best regards,
Andrew

You will probably need to compile with HIGHMEM64G which also enables the PAE option.
