Thumbs up Problem in execve function

I am porting Linux 2.6.10 on sh7770 target board. I am using initrd as file system in which I am mounting ext2. My kernel is able to find ramdisk image and it also mounts ext2 filesystem in ram0 drive, but as kernel searches for linuxrc script, it is unable to execve that script. I think there is some problem in this function which is defined in kernel/arch/sys_arch.c. Can anyone suggest the solution?
